  • 60 ml 2 ounces rum i used Santiago Añejo Tradición
  • 1/2 lime cut in 4 pieces
  • 1 branch gardenmint
  • 2 cda teaspoons of sugar brown.
  • 4 ce cubes I full the glass
  • 2 ounces of sprinkling water complite the glass
  • gardenmint branch for garnish
  • -Optionally a few drops of angostura to balanced the flavor

Elaboración paso a paso
 

  • Add the sugar and the lime into the glass and muddle until the sugar is dissolve.
  • .Add the gardenmint, and muddle, but not too much. The key is not to break the leaves, but to release their essential oils.
  • Put the ice, add the rum and complete the glass with sparkling water.
  • Stir, put a straw and garnish with a slice of lime or gardenmint branch.

NOTES
You can also remove the leaves from the stem and
macerate it, then clap the leaves and add them to the
glass, in this case we will not macerate any more.
